Members News
Recently Two of our Tas buckskins went to Sydney royal Easter Show 2009 to compete. Both achieved a great level of success.
Big congratulations to Kim Cooper & DaleBrook Prima Donna & Steph Loan & Underwood Cookies & Cream on your recent success on the mainland.
They both would like to thank the team at DaleBrook Lodge for campaigning these two lovely Tassie horses.

Haych Bee Buckstar
finished his show season with a successful HOTY, placing top 5 (3rd)
in ridden open hunter galloway at his first hoty event. Then day two
he was awarded Led Hunter Galloway Horse of The Year. |

has had a very successful show season this year winning many Champions
and Supremes at major shows. At the recent Tas Buckskins inc State show
Bella won her 3rd consecutive SUpreme Ridden buckskin title ridden by
Yvonne Barr of Dalebrook Lodge. She has also won many open show hunter
galloway championships & had success at Hores Of The Year

News From Fern Ayre
Hayley Atkins and Fernayre Saint Nic (Tas Buckskins inc sub registry Gelding) was the winner of the 2008 Northern Hunt Club Point to Point kindly sponsored by remus rugs and game away. They also placed also 3rd in junior hunter and 4th in forestry tas working hunter.Our Veteran Mare Jesse also went to the Gymkhana for the first time in 9 years & had a great day although very slow.

Monds & Affleck Tas Allbreed Championships held on Sunday 2nd November 2008
Our annual Monds & Affleck Tas allbreeds championship was held at Westbury, and what a fine day it was.
over 120 horses competed on the day.
Judges were Allan Preston, Robert Cockran, Jenny Heath & Marianne Russell, Fiona Forge all interstae judges.
Major show winners were:
Champion Best Presented - Glenfine stud's solid paint gelding sirprizingly shamus
Champion State Bred & Owned - Nigella lodge - Palomino mare nigella wanna lucy
Supreme Junior - Danny & Angela Hawkes welsh a colt llangollen tegid
